Deviation Actions
Description
The episode starts out at nighttime, in the streets of Amity Park. It was calm in the city when out of nowhere; six giant ghost turkeys appeared roaming the streets. Following behind the turkeys were Danny, Dani and Johnny, chasing them down in mid air. The turkeys would occasionally look back at the three while they were being chased and fired ghost rays from their eyes. Dani dodges a ghost ray.
"Is it ironic we're fighting turkeys before Thanksgiving?" Dani asked.
"I don't know." Said Johnny before dodging a ghost ray as well. "You tell me."
Danny looks back at Dani and Johnny.
"Stay focused you two." Said Danny. "We almost have these turkeys right where we want them." Danny presses the communicator on his ear. "Sam and Tucker are you two ready?"
Meanwhile, down the street, Sam and Tucker were each on the opposite side of the street holding ghost rope.
"All set." Sam replied. "Ready when you are."
The turkeys then got close enough to Sam and Tuckers position.
"Now!" Danny yelled.
Sam and Tucker pull the ghost rope they were holding up and cause all the ghost turkeys to trip over it.
"Wow." Tucker said astounded. "That was a lot easier than I expected."
Tucker and Sam began to capture the ghost turkeys that were knocked out on the ground until one of them got up and tried to escape.
"We got a straggler!" Yelled Sam.
"We're on it!" Replied both Johnny and Dani on Sam's ear communicator.
The turkey ran for a good distance, believing it was going to get away from Team Phantom easily, until the turkey notices Johnny floating right in front of it ahead. The turkey freaked out and tried to put on the brakes while sliding slowly toward Johnny until it finally stopped right in front of him. Johnny grins and points toward the other direction of the turkey. The turkey was confused and turned around to instantly notice Dani coming in full throttle. Dani charges up her fist with ghost energy and uppercuts the turkey to knock it out cold on the street. Johnny pulls out his thermos and captures the turkey. Dani comes by Johnny at the two high five each other.
"I see you've been working on that deadly uppercut of yours." Said Johnny.
"Yep." Dani replied with a smile. "And I think that might have been the best one I've ever done…so far that is."
Dani and Johnny laugh and then fly toward Danny, Sam and Tucker to meet up with them. Danny, Dani and Johnny turn back into humans.
"Well, that takes care of that." Said Danny.
"I'll say." Said Tucker. "I am definitely not seeing another Turkey again until tomorrow evening."
Everyone laughed at Tucker's statement and as they headed back home.
"Boy I can't wait for tomorrow." Said Danny. "The whole Fenton family is coming down."
"And we're going to eat like there's no tomorrow." Dani added in as she rubbed her hands together out of excitement. "Ah I can just taste the mashed potatoes already."
"What about you guys?" Danny asked.
"I'm just eating with my parents." Said Tucker. "But usually I'm the one who dominates in eating all of the food."
"Oh I'm sure you do." Said Danny with a smirk. "What about you Sam?"
Sam rolls her eyes as if she's dreading for tomorrow to come.
"I'm just praying my parents will leave me alone at the table." Sam replied.
"Why's that?" Johnny asked. "I thought tomorrow was all about spending time with family."
"Oh no, I'm not saying I don't want my parents to leave me alone altogether." Sam replied. "It's just that they are always trying to use Thanksgiving as an opportunity to try and get me try meat."
"Oh…" Johnny uttered. "Does it work?"
"Not really."
Everyone laughed at Sam's answer. As Danny, Sam and Tucker continued to discuss about their plans, Dani falls back to talk to Johnny.
"So Johnny, what are you doing for thanksgiving?" Dani asked.
"Well… I have no family." Johnny replied awkwardly. "So I guess I'm spending thanksgiving by myself…as usual now."
"Oh…" Dani uttered awkwardly as well but then comes up with an idea. "Hey, maybe I can try to ask the Fenton's if you can eat with us?"
"That's really thoughtful of you to ask Dani but it's fine. Besides, I don't want Danny's parents to start questioning me on why I'm not eating with my…"
"It's okay, I got it." Dani interrupted. "You don't have to say that last word."
As everyone continued to walk, Dani would look back at Johnny's sad expression in concern. Danny then looks back at Johnny.
"Hey Johnny, you like football?" Danny asked.
"Yeah." Johnny replied excitedly. "You guys going to watch the Oakland and Detroit game tomorrow morning?"
"Oh yeah." Tucker replied. "Come over to Danny's house and we'll watch it together."
"Alright, I'll be there." Said Johnny.
Johnny broke off from the group and headed back to his pool house but when he was alone, he became down on himself.
"At least it'll keep me occupied for a while." Johnny uttered.
***The Next Day***
Danny, Jazz, and Dani were all sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast, when Jack walked in wearing a Pilgrim hat.
"Morning Fentons!" Said Jack excitedly. "Happy Thanksgiving to you all."
"Happy Thanksgiving to you too dad." Jazz replied.
"Hey Dad." Danny asked. "When's the family suppose to get here."
Jack scratches his head.
"You know, its funny you ask that." Said Jack. "They should have been here by now."
At that moment the doorbell rings and Maddie randomly pops out of nowhere.
"They're here!" Maddie exclaimed.
Maddie quickly rushes toward the door while fixing her hair and opens the door.
"Welcome everyone!" Said Maddie cheerfully.
All the family members that were grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins entered the house to greet everyone. The three smiled at the kitchen table and got up to greet their family members.
***Later***
Johnny starts walking to Danny's house with an Oakland Raiders jersey and then knocks on the door. The door opens and Danny was revealed to be wearing a Detroit Lions jersey. Danny had a cheerful attitude but then it went away when he looked at Johnny's jersey.
"Johnny..." Danny uttered awkwardly. "I didn't know you were an Oakland fan."
"That's funny." Johnny replied while looking at Danny's jersey. "I was just about to say the same about your Detroit jersey."
"Well you are in the state of Michigan."
"True but it's not like all of you are hardcore Lions fans…right?"
"Uhhhh…"
Danny opens the door awkwardly to reveal Sam, Tucker, Dani, Jazz, Jack, Maddie and the whole Fenton family were all wearing Lions gear. Everyone glared at Johnny's jersey and then gave him a dirty look after. Johnny's eyes opened wide.
"Oh boy…" Johnny uttered.
Johnny walked into Danny's living room while being stared at by all of Danny's Lion loving family members. Johnny grinned and sat down quietly on the couch next to Jazz and Dani, to which Jazz reacted by blushing. Everyone continued to stare at Johnny before Johnny finally broke the ice.
"Okay in my defense." Said Johnny. "I was born in Oakland. Is that good enough for you all?"
The whole family nodded while shrugging their shoulders and stopped staring at Johnny. The TV came on and on the screen were football players on both teams getting ready for kickoff.
"Hi folks." Said the commentator. "And welcome to some good old Thanksgiving morning football between the Oakland Raiders and the Detroit Lions. The Raiders won the toss and have decided to receive the ball first to start the game while the Lions will start on Defense first and are preparing to kick the ball off."
On the TV screen, the Lions kicker is shown
"The Lions kick the ball off and the Raiders returner receives it perfectly."
The Fenton's started to jabber away.
"Get'em!" Screamed Jack.
"Destroy him!" Screamed Maddie.
"Take him down!" Screamed Dani.
"And the Oakland returner goes down the middle and gets past the Lions Defense!" Said the commentator surprisingly. "I don't believe it! He has room to run!"
"Oh come on!" Screamed Danny.
"Give me a break!" Screamed Jazz.
"Unbelievable!" Screamed Sam.
"He will go down to the 40, the 30, the 20, and the 10." Said the commentator with lots of adrenaline. "Touchdown Raiders!"
Johnny jumps up from his seat out of excitement.
"Woot! Raider Nation!" Johnny screamed. "That's how you start a game boys!"
As soon as Johnny stopped cheering, he looked around to notice Danny's entire family was angry and looking directly at him. Johnny then looks at Dani and Jazz, who were signaling him to sit down as quickly as possible.
"You might want to sit down if I were you." Said Dani.
Johnny then nods and slowly sinks back into the couch and keeps his mouth shut.
***Later***
"The Lions are on the 35 yard line, the ball is snapped." Said the commentator. "The QB looks around, he throws the ball towards the end zone and the receiver catches it! Touchdown Lions!"
Danny and everyone else besides Johnny stood up in excitement and went crazy. Jack gets in Johnny's face.
"Oh yeah!" Jack screamed.
Maddie also gets in Johnny's face.
"How does it make you feel!?" Maddie screamed.
Even though everyone was cheering and rubbing it into Johnny's face, he wasn't intimidated at all, as a matter in fact Johnny was trying his best not to laugh as he noticed that the scoreboard read Oak: 42 Det: 7 4th Qtr. 0:19.
The game ends and the Fenton's started to rant aggresively.
"Oakland got Lucky!" Said Jack.
"I blame the ref's" Said Maddie.
Johnny gets up from his seat.
"WOOT!" Johnny cheered. "That was a good game."
The whole Fenton family stares at Johnny weirdly.
"Well for me at least." Johnny uttered tauntingly.
The Fenton family got mad and threw their empty cups at Johnny while chasing him out of the house.
"Get out of here!" Screamed one of the other family members.
"We don't need your comments!" Screamed another family member.
Johnny walked out of the house smiling but as soon as Johnny started to walk back to his place, his smile then faded away.
"Well. That was the highlight of my day." Said Johnny.
***Evening Strikes***
Johnny was sitting on the roof of his pool house, listening to everyone else's Thanksgiving activities. Johnny then pulls out a picture of his parents and sighs.
"This will be the third time I've spent Thanksgiving without my family." Said Johnny. "I thought it would get easier as the years went by. Now I realize it only gets harder."
Johnny continued to sit on the roof as he watched the sun set when a familiar figure started to rise from under the roof behind Johnny. Johnny's ghost signifier comes out.
"Seriously?" Johnny uttered irritably. "I hope you're ready ghost because I am not in the mood."
Johnny quickly turns around with his ghost rays ready in his hands when out of nowhere someone kissed him on the lips. It was Ember. The two stopped kissing and Johnny deactivated his ghost energy.
"Oh it's you." Said Johnny astonished. "I wasn't expecting to see you today."
"I know." Ember replied. "But I felt like checking on my best friend to see how he was doing today."
Ember then notices the picture of Johnny's parents on the ground and then looks back up at Johnny sad.
"Are you feeling okay Johnny?" Ember asked.
Johnny sighs and picks up the picture of his parents off the ground.
"I'm sort of feeling a little lonely for Thanksgiving this year." Johnny replied. "It's so hard to watch everyone else feel the enjoyment of this holiday when I can't."
Ember frowned but then smiled and places her hands on Johnny's shoulders.
"Then how about we spend Thanksgiving together this year dipstick?" Ember asked.
"With you Amber." Said Johnny with a smile. "I will definitely."
The two smile and use their intangibility to sink into Johnny's pool house to set up Thanksgiving dinner.
"Did you see the Raider game earlier?" Ember asked as they sunk through the roof.
Johnny laughed.
"Oh boy do I have a story for you." Said Johnny.
Meanwhile over in the ghost zone, a log cabin was floating idly in a certain region. Inside the log cabin stood an angry pilgrim, looking down inside a cauldron to reveal what people were doing in Amity Park for Thanksgiving. The Pilgrim sticks his tongue out, out of disgust.
"Oh this makes me sick to stomach." Said the Pilgrim.
The Pilgrim turns around to look at six turkeys frightened in the corner of the room, the same turkeys that were terrorizing Amity Park the night before.
"I gave you stupid turkeys one job!" Said the Pilgrim furiously. "And you couldn't honestly complete it!"
The turkeys were scared even more but then the pilgrim turns around and feels bad about what he said.
"I'm sorry my babies, you know how frustrated I get around this time of the year. That I, John Carver, was never credited for the creation of Thanksgiving but instead my stupid backstabbing so called brother in law Governor Bradford decided to take credit for it after I died!"
Carver slammed his fists on a wooden table out of anger and then looked back into the cauldron to see the people of Amity Park enjoying Thanksgiving.
"I've had it!" Said Carver. "I'm going to make sure that if I can't enjoy my holiday like everyone else, then no one will!"
Carver turns back to his turkeys and uses his hands to shoot beams at the turkeys. The turkeys began to mutate by the beams and then turned into vicious turkeys with sharp teeth and got bigger than before.
"Go my babies." Carver grinned. "Make the original creator of Thanksgiving proud. I will meet up with you shortly."
The turkeys nod and go through a portal that Carver creates.
"I'm going to use everything I got against these so called halfas. Even if it means ending them."
Back to Amity Park, at Sam's house, Sam was eating with her family but she was the only one eating a salad while the rest were eating a meaty Thanksgiving dinner. Sam's dad then grabs a turkey leg and holds it in front of Sam's face.
"Hey Sam, you want a leg?" Sam's dad asked.
Sam gives her dad a dirty look and bats the turkey leg away.
Meanwhile at Tucker's house, Tuckers parents were staring at Tucker in awe to the amount of food he was scarfing to a point were Tucker was really fat. Tucker looks at his dad's food.
"Are you going to finish that?" Tucker asked.
"Uhhh…" Tuckers dad uttered.
"Thanks." Tucker said as he grabbed it and started eating it.
Over at the Fenton household, everyone was eating at the table and enjoying him or herself. Jazz sat there in disbelief to the amount of food being devoured.
"How am I related to this family again?" Jazz muttered.
Jazz sighs and looks out the window and was instantly shocked to see Giant Turkeys running down the street. Jazz quickly nudges both Danny and Danielle to look outside. The two look outside and are instantly shocked to see the giant turkeys running down the street. At that moment Danny and Dani both got up at the same time.
"May I be excused from the table?!" They both shouted.
Jack and Maddie look at each other confused.
"Yes you may?" Replied Maddie but was confused by the tone.
"Thank you!" They both replied and run out of the door quickly.
Danny pulls out his phone and texts Sam, Tucker and Johnny saying, "Turkeys are back but bigger and more vicious than ever." Sam and Tucker both get the message on their phones and quickly rush out the door, however, Johnny unfortunately left his phone on the roof. Sam quickly gets to Danny and Dani but before Sam could say a word, the ground began to shake numerous times. The three look ahead and notice a fat and stuffed Tucker trying to run to them while also causing the ground to shake. Sam looks at Tucker is disgust.
"My lord you're disgusting." Said Sam.
"What did you do to yourself?" Danny asked.
"I think I ate more than I can handle." Tucker replied and then faints on the ground.
"Where's Johnny?" Asked Dani.
"I don't know, he never texted back." Danny replied. "Here, Sam and Tucker you go get Johnny, while Dani and I deal with turkeys at the mean time."
"Alright." Said Sam. "Come on Tucker lets go!"
Sam started heading over to Johnny's while Tucker tried to follow.
"I'm coming!" Tucker shouted. "Whooo…"
Danny and Dani go ghost and fly towards the turkeys.
Sam gets to Johnny's pool house and breaks through the door.
"Johnny we've got trouble…oh." Sam stuttered awkwardly. "… Hey Ember."
Sam discovered awkwardly that Ember was dressed as a pilgrim and Johnny was dressed as a turkey and they were about to do something until Sam had barged in. Tucker rushed into the pool house finally and started panting hard and then looked up at Johnny's turkey outfit awkwardly.
"What's up with you?" Tucker asked.
Johnny looks at how fat Tucker was.
"I don't know Tucker, I think the real question is what did you do to yourself?" Johnny replied. "You are literally as fat as the Nutty Professor if he were in his prime."
"Focus!" Sam interrupted. "The turkeys are back and this time they mean business."
Johnny nods and goes ghost.
"That's so hot." Ember muttered.
"I heard that." Johnny smirked.
"Problem?"
"Not at all."
"Ahem." Sam interrupted again. "I hate to stop your little flirting session but we got some turkeys to stop."
"Right." Said Johnny. "Amber I'll be right back."
Ember nods.
"I'll be here waiting." Said Ember.
The three quickly head out the door and Ember slouches on the couch.
"I wonder what's on?"
Ember turns on the TV to reveal another football game playing.
"The 49Ers are on the Broncos 20 yard line." Said the commentator on the TV screen. "The ball is snapped, hand off down the middle, and he gets past the D, touchdown San Francisco!"
"I guess this will do." Said Ember.
Meanwhile, Danny and Dani were chasing down the giant ghost turkeys around Amity Park. Dani quickly nosedives down on one of the turkey's head to try and smash it. However, the turkey dodges the attack, causing Dani to be shocked, and then grabs Dani by the leg to throw her across the sky. Danny quickly flies over to Dani and catches her.
"You okay?" Danny asked.
"I'm fine." Dani replied. "Man, I was not expecting that."
"Neither was I." Said Danny. "These turkeys definitely mean business this time. But what caused them to be so vicious now?"
Then out of nowhere, John Carver appeared from a ghost portal in front of Danny and Dani.
"That would be me." Said Carver. "John Carver, the original creator of Thanksgiving!"
Danny and Dani glare at John carver for a second before looing at each other in confusion.
"Don't you mean Governor Bradford?" Danny replied.
"Nooo!" John Carver screamed in disbelief. "He just took credit for something I created!"
"Talk about a Pilgrim with anger issues." Dani giggled to herself.
"I heard that!" Carver screamed.
At that moment Johnny, Tucker and Sam finally show up to the fight and Johnny flies up to meet with Danny and Dani.
"Who's this guy?" Johnny asked.
"I am John Carver." Carver replied. "The original creator of thanksgiving!"
Johnny became confused.
"Don't you mean Governor Bradford?" Johnny asked.
"No!" Carver screamed and was furious even more. "I was the creator!"
"I'm pretty sure in the text book it says Governor Bradford." Said Tucker.
John Carver face palms and then down at Tucker and Sam.
"Does it say anywhere about me?" Carver asked.
Sam pulls out a random textbook from Tuckers backpack and skims through it.
"Nope." Sam replied.
John Carver sighs.
"Oh forget it." Carver uttered. "I'm just here to make sure everyone doesn't enjoy their Thanksgiving because I can't!"
John Carver extends his hands out and fires several potatoes rapidly like a machine gun. Danny and Dani both dodge the potatoes but Johnny didn't' see them from behind the two and gets drilled by them and then goes straight down to the ground.
"Dang." Said Tucker in shock. "Johnny just got mashed by potatoes."
Sam gave Tucker a dirty look.
"Did you seriously just say that?" Asked Sam.
Carver then pulls out a giant corn on the cob and gets ready to use it like a giant melee weapon.
Danny laughs.
"You're going to try and hurt us with that?" Asked Danny.
Carver flies toward Danny to swing the cob at Danny but when Carver got close enough to him, razor sharp blades sprung out of the cob and Carver gets a fat cut on Danny's chest. Danny looks at the fat cuts on his chest and abs.
"Okay, so you can hurt us with that." Danny uttered.
On the street, Johnny gets up from being hit and shakes off all the potatoes on his face.
"Ow." Johnny uttered. "That actually kind of hurt."
Danny looks over while battling with John Carver, to notice the turkeys were still destroying Amity Park.
"Sam, Tucker and Johnny go deal with the turkeys!" Yelled Danny. "Dani and I will deal with this pilgrim."
Johnny grabs Sam and Tucker.
"Lets go you two." Said Johnny.
Johnny quickly flies into the air carrying the two but is not able to fly too high due to Tucker's weight.
"Dang Tucker." Uttered Johnny. "You're really heavy!"
"Oh quit your whining." Tucker replied. "You can do it."
Back to the duel, Dani flies toward Carver and starts swinging punches at him. Carver dodges all of the punches and then uses his hand to blast gravy at Dani and plasters her on the wall. Dani looks at the gravy on her in disgust.
"Okay, eww." Dani uttered.
Danny uses his ice powers to freeze Carver's corn on the cob weapon and then uses his ghost ray to shatter it.
Carver gives Danny a serious look.
"So that's how you want to play, eh?" Carver taunted.
Meanwhile, Sam and Tucker were setting up the ghost rope like they did the night before. Johnny gathered up all the Turkeys and chased them down to where Sam and Tucker were at, hoping the turkeys were stupid enough to fall for the same trick twice. Just as the turkeys were about to hit the ghost rope, the turkeys all of sudden stopped.
"Huh?" Johnny uttered in shock and then ran right into the back of one of the turkeys and falls to the ground.
"I'll admit." Said Tucker. "I was not seeing that one coming."
Sam and Tucker were still holding onto the ghost rope and one of the turkeys in the front grabs the ghost rope by the beak.
"Uh oh." Sam uttered.
The ghost turkey lifts Sam and Tucker from the ground and swung the two around as they hung on for dear life. Johnny gets up and notices Sam and Tucker being thrashed around.
"That's not good." Johnny uttered.
Johnny quickly flies up and grabs Sam but Tucker couldn't hold on to the rope and falls off. Johnny quickly to reacts by setting Sam down and flies right under Tucker to catch him. However, because of Tuckers heavy weight the two went straight down to the ground. Tucker looks around while sitting on the ground.
"Johnny?" Tucker asked.
"Get off me Fat Albert!" Johnny yelled from underneath Tucker.
Tucker gets up and Johnny breathes for air.
"He he. Sorry bro." Said Tucker.
"We are getting you on a treadmill tomorrow." Said Johnny.
"Couldn't agree more Johnny." Said Sam.
The turkeys then get together while staring at the three and then all six of the turkeys start to turkey ghost wail.
"Get behind me!" Johnny screamed.
Johnny quickly ghost wails to counter the turkeys' ghost wail attack but as Johnny would counter the attack, he was also being pushed back.
"I can't hold them for long." Johnny said inside his head.
Right when Johnny was about to give up, a guitar sound wave comes in and helps Johnny push the turkeys on to their backs. Johnny looks behind to see Ember.
"Amber?" Said Johnny. "So I take it you wanted to help?"
"Well it was either do something fun." Ember replied. "Or watch a blowout game."
"Oh. Well in that case I probably would have done the same."
Sam and Tucker sprinted towards the turkeys and began capturing them all with their Fenton thermoses. One of the turkeys got up however and began to make a run for it.
"Again?" Said Tucker.
"Don't worry." Said Sam. "I think they got it."
The turkey continued to run away until the turkey noticed Johnny and Ember right in front of it and quickly slammed on the brakes while sliding towards them. Johnny shakes his head.
"Oh no, you're getting it this time." Said Johnny tauntingly.
Johnny prepares to punch the turkey by activating his ghost energy with his fist and Ember prepares to hit the turkey with her guitar. Johnny and Ember both swing at the same time and knockout the turkey.
"Baaam!" Ember yelled tauntingly.
Johnny grins to Ember's attitude. Sam quickly runs to the downed turkey and captures it with a Fenton thermos.
"Listen." Said Johnny to Ember. "I'm about to go help Danny but I can't let him know about us. At least not yet."
"I understand." Ember nodded and then kissed Johnny. "I'll see you around."
Ember than disappears by using her fire hair and Johnny responds by frowning.
Meanwhile, back to Danny and Dani, Dani was shooting several of her ghost rays at Carver but Carver was dodging them all. Carver then pulls out an old fashion-hunting rifle and blasts Dani with it. However, Danny decides to use this opportunity to blind side Carver and punches him downwards. Carver was about to hit the street when Johnny appears in front of him and uses his ghost ray to blast Carver back into the air. As Carver went back into the air, Dani flies full throttle at Carver and punches him right in the stomach and causes him to fly back and slam into a wall. Carver sat there in the wall and looked up at the three Phantoms defeated but also saddened.
"All I wanted in life was to enjoy Thanksgiving." Said Carver. "But I guess I'll never be acknowledged for the creation of Thanksgiving."
Danny thinks for a second and then comes up with an idea.
"How about instead of trying to ruin everybody's Thanksgiving." Said Danny. "Why don't you just celebrate with those who do know you're creator?"
"But you guys are the only ones that know I'm the creator."
"Exactly."
"Huh?" Dani and Johnny both uttered and looked at each other in confusion
***Later***
Over at Johnny's pool house, John Carver, Danny, Dani, Johnny, Sam, Tucker and all the turkeys but smaller this time, were all sitting together at a Thanksgiving table eating.
"Thank you all." Said Carver. "For once I can actually enjoy this holiday."
"I can too." Said Johnny. "My family may not be here with me anymore, but I'm glad I can enjoy Thanksgiving still and spend it with people I can consider family to me."
Everyone raised their drinks to Johnny's statement and then go back to enjoying the rest of their thanksgiving day.
